That said, with 10 cards shuffled, you should be able to “take” that mana back quite quickly, often after the first card you draw. Will it be good enough to put the deck into the meta? It will make it much easier to keep the weapon ( Spectral Cutlass) alive, and Tess is going to be huge once you drop her.
This card will obviously be an auto-include in Burgle/ Pick Pocket/ Tess Greymane Rogue, since it specifically synergizes with cards from other classes. While I know that it’s somewhat of the best case scenario, imagine losing a game as a Druid to a Rogue drawing a 1 mana Ultimate Infestation from this, into a bunch of other 1 mana stuff from your class? It would feel horrible. Such RNG cards are fun if they’re bad, but this one might not be. On the other, from the competitive side, I absolutely dislike this card, because there is A LOT of RNG involved. On the one hand, I already want to play around with it. So, on average, a huge discount will be applied. On the other hand, those cards now cost 1 mana each. On the one hand, shuffling a bunch of random cards into your deck was never a good thing. The order you face them in will be random, and the Shrine they use can vary in each match.Another insane card from this expansion. You will need to takedown 8 different Troll Champions to complete the Rumble Run. If you have it on the board, once you cast a spell you will draw a spell from your deck and it will cost 2 less! This is great if you are working a deck with a lot of spell synergy.
Lobstrok Tastetester will be an option for the Rogue class. These are going to be pretty powerful, so choosing the one that works best with your deck will be crucial to your success. The teammates you’ll get a chance to choose will correspond with the class you chose at the beginning. This gives you access to it again quicker, and the Shrines are going to be extremely important in your path to victory. Pact with the Loa will work well with a lower health Shrine that will likely be destroyed more often. Here’s an example of one of the Passives: These are extremely powerful, and you will want to choose one that synergizes with the Shrine you chose. With Passives, you will get cards that give your Shrines a buff at the beginning of each game. These will be in the form of Passives and Teammates. When you progress through the run, you will get to add some powerful unique cards to your deck. Once those turns are up, you will have access to it again and the bonuses it gives you. They can be destroyed, but they will lie dormant for three turns. Shrines start on your board at the beginning of the game. The final Shrine works with Hunter’s more recent Spell based strategies, and will summon a random Hunter secret into the battlefield when you cast a spell! The second one adds the new keyword “Overkill” to your minions, and will reduce your hand cost if you can trigger it. The first Shrine will add Rush, Taunt, or Poisonous to your summoned Beast. Per usual with Hunter, you get a bit of Beast synergy. One works based off your attack power, one refreshes your Mana Crystals when you gain armor, and the final one will work well with smaller low-cost minions by giving each one +1/+1 when it hits the board.
